Saylor House -  Then & Now

In the late 1800's the Saylor House served as a hotel and pub for travelers making their way by horse drawn carriages along the well traveled route between Baltimore and York.  Later the old hotel would become the place my grandfather would choose to begin  his medical practice and raise his young family and eventually the home where my parents would raise their own children.

As a young child the Saylor House was more than just a home, it was a place to explore; complete with passages, spiraling stairwells and unlimited places to hide.
